Option 1. The Box It program is a true recycling program. If you are concerned about recycling accessories, as you should be, this is the program you should choose. This program pays $1.00 for phones on a list that we will provide you. The list changes frequently and should only be used as a guide. We do not require you to sort phones or accessories. Once the Blue collection box reaches the factory the phones are sorted and you will receive your credit. Option 2. This is our Bag It program. This program allows the recycling of cell phones using selected ink jet collection bags .The payout varies depending on the market and is currently $.70 per phone. Also, we ask you not to use this program to recycle accessories as the cost to use the US Mail as a collection option for materials that have no after market value is prohibitive and further reduces our ability to pay commissions. The collection materials are free and freight continues to be prepaid. Therefore we ask your help in filling the Box It collection boxes (CBOX50) with at least 35 pound of phones. Phones weigh 6-8 oz each depending on the type. The ink jet bags can hold 1-3 phones again depending on the type. Check out scrolling newsletter on the home page for articles of interest. RecycleFirst therefore reserves the right to limit returns of a large number of phones without prior authorization. If you are a dealer or manufacturer and/or have more than 200 cell phones and wish RecycleFirst to recycle these phones please call us at 888.538.0485 to obtain authorization.
